Mike Edward: It was during my formative years, that I realized I was not like other kids. I had no reason to think I was anything more than a bit “awkward,” or that things would get worse for me; I was just that oblivious child who liked to play alone, that eccentric teenager turned struggling adult, who, after having been treated for chronic mental illness for two decades, wants to share their story.
